![]() ![]() So I followed the instructions and ran Avira which found just one problem, TR.BHO.Gen in XMLDOMDocument.dll, which it quarantined. I then ran MalWareBytes, which found lots of problems (log file attached). I could watch msseces.exe appear briefly if I watched the Processes carefully. I walked away from my desktop for dinner, and when I got back there were several IE windows open with ads (Chrome is my default browser).Īnyway, I noticed MSSE wasn't in the system tray anymore, and manually starting it resulted in a brief GUI, then gone. I was running Windows 7 with Security Essentials. ![]()
